The May 4th issue of Credit Union Times provided a wonderful juxtaposition of credit unions interested in serving their members and those interested in serving themselves. You had two articles on credit unions making every effort to include members in their annual meetings and democratic processes – and then there was Community CU of Texas. When they exclude members and even remove members from the annual meeting it becomes very clear whose interest they are looking out for.
