WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. – Integrated Data Systems (IDS) has licensed its host integration application to Akcelerant to use with that company's automated collections software, a combination already in place at two credit unions and on the way at two more. The ConnectionPoint Host Integration API will allow Akcelerant to interface its CollectAnywhere product to host systems in real time "so collections procedures can be conducted with greater accuracy and less effort," says Bob Vandehey, director of product development at IDS in Woodland Hills. "The ability to interact directly with the host system increases the effectiveness of the entire collections process," says Mark Price, COO of Akcelerant (www.akcelerant.com) in Malvern, Pa. IDS says two credit unions are using the integrated platform: $1 billion Pacific Service CU in Walnut Creek, a Summit Information Systems core client, and $873 million Community First Credit Union of Florida in Jacksonville, a Symitar client. The company says implementations will soon be completed at two more: Utah's $1.5 billion Mountain America, a Symitar client, and $160 million American 1 FCU in Jackson, Mich., another Symitar client.
