CLEVELAND, Tenn. – In a show of support for the troops overseas, Cleveland/Bradley County Teachers Federal Credit Union staffers have “adopted” John Wright, Specialist in the United States Army. After completing training in August of 2002, Wright flew to Kuwait, where he stayed about a week before boarding a plane into Iraq. The squad leader and gunner for his team Wright helped train Iraqi policemen and fuel truck convoy escorts. Wright says machine guns, mortars, and RPG's hit their compound every night. According to Wright, prayers, letters, and care packages are things that keep soldiers going. CBCTFCU was proud to send Wright a substantial care package of much needed items donated by the employees, in time for Memorial Day.
