SAN FRANCISCO – San Francisco Federal Credit Union Board Director/SF International Airport Director John L. Martin has been named the 2004 "Director of the Year" by Airport Revenue News (ARN). ARN is the leading monthly trade magazine covering airports and airport finances. Martin has been recognized by ARN for his "decisive and forward-thinking" leadership during an extremely dynamic and rapidly changing aviation environment. Martin was also honored for his proactive steps to stimulate passenger growth, increase non-aviation revenue and reduce operating costs while improving customer service. "While I am extremely flattered to win this award, I firmly believe the award should go to SFO as the `Airport of the Year,'" said Martin.
