DI, CheckFree Migrate Mutual Clients to Bill Pay Upgrade

CALABASAS, Calif. – Digital Insight's clients using CheckFree Corp. bill pay solutions are now on the new CheckFree Web service, the companies said. DI is the first CheckFree re-seller to launch the upgrade, which features a single-point bill management center for consumers to manage billing information from one screen. Enrollment and activation processes also are easier in the new version, as are same-day and next-day payments, the companies said. DI and Atlanta-based CheckFree, whose software handles more than two-thirds of the 10 billion domestic ACH transactions each year, have been strategic partners since 1999. "Increasing bill pay adoption is one of our four strategic goals in 2005 and CheckFree Web will be a key success factor in that strategy. The same-day and next-day payment functionality is a key differentiator for us," said Bill Mignone, senior manager for e-commerce at $1.7 billion Eastern Financial Florida Credit Union, one of Calabasas-based DI's more than 1,100 credit union clients.
