PASADENA, Calif. – Wescom Resources Group will be using the OFX (open financial exchange) standard to streamline the exchange of member account information over the Internet through a new partnership Innovision Corp. OFX is a unified specification for the electronic exchange of financial data between financial institutions, businesses and consumers via the Internet, from large users such as investment houses to downloading data through such home PC programs as Money and Quicken. Innovision, based in Lenexa, Kan., will integrate its OFX protocol solution, Innovision Financial Server, with WRG's home banking platform, one of a growing range of solutions the Wescom Credit Union tech CUSO offers to other credit unions. "Providing our clients with OFX capabilities gives them another online channel to help members manage their accounts online," said WRG President Kevin Sarber.
