Mike Welch was right on with his assessment of former NCUA Chairman Norm D'Amours (CU Times, Nov. 17). Anyone who believes D'Amours' assessment must be a banker or stupid or both. He wasn't our friend when he worked for CUNA. He wasn't our friend when he worked for NCUA. I frankly don't know how he has managed to hang around with his limited ability and loyalty.
