Do Consumers Understand the Credit Union Difference?

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Credit union leaders are always preaching that credit unions are different, but is anyone listening? Credit Union Times hit the streets and randomly polled consumers from throughout the country to get a sense of credit union awareness. Consumers were asked such basic questions as `what is a credit union?' and `what is the difference between a credit union and bank?'.
