Pentagon FCU, Enterprise Car Sales Shake on Car Buying Agreement

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Members of Pentagon FCU interested in purchasing a used vehicle now have one more resource to use to find their perfect car or van. Last month, the $5.8-billion Pentagon reached a partnership with Enterprise Car Sales, a division of Enterprise Rent-A-Car for the car rental company to develop a comprehensive auto sales program for Pentagon's 530,000 members. While members will be able to access Enterprise used vehicle information from a co-branded `private label' Web site linked to Pentagon's home page, the credit union will handle all vehicle financing. Members will be able to search for a quality used car, truck, SUV or van, obtain information about the vehicle, and then apply for a loan through the credit union. The Web site will provide real-time inventory, photos of the vehicles, and will allow members to communicate with Enterprise representatives for additional information. Pentagon FCU members will also have access to Enterprise vehicles through special car sales. Pentagon FCU's field-of-membership includes Army, Air Force and Coast Guard personnel, their families, Department of Defense professionals and members of certain military associations throughout the world.
