OAKLAND, Calif. – Franklin Media Credit Union has merged with San Jose-based Meriwest Credit Union. Franklin Media CU members now will have access to home banking and 11 branches. The merger adds some 2,600 members and $5 million in assets to Meriwest CU, which has over $800 million in assets.
