ATLANTA – More than 300 users of Harland Financial Solutions' Pro Suite compliance software package are now using a recent upgrade that allows loan and deposit documents to be securely e-mailed as PDF files, the company said. The new version of E-Print Connect uses MAPI-compliant e-mail and security technologies, including 128-bit encryption and password protections, and transmits documents in read-only format to ensure integrity, HFS said. "The E-Print product enhancements were designed after analyzing the needs of Pro Suite's 3,000-strong customer base," said Kris Hanson, vice president of marketing and product management of HFS' Delivery Systems business. "Our customers wanted the ability to send secure documents to branches, correspondents or other business partners who may not be on their internal network, without jeopardizing the confidentiality of the transaction," Hanson said. HFS is a subsidiary of John H. Harland Company and owner of the ULTRADATA processing system for credit unions.
