SECURITY Federal Credit Union, Flint, Mich., is among the finalists at the first annual Flint & Genesee County Business Awards. The credit union was recognized in both the service industry and e-commerce categories. The award program was started by the Flint Area Chamber of Commerce to recognize area businesses for their accomplishments and contributions. Awards were given in the following 10 categories: community beautification, corporate citizenship, small business entrepreneur of the year, minority-owned business, woman-owned business, manufacturing, service industry, local retailers, e-commerce and global.
