Credit Unions Greet the Freshman Class of 108th Congress

Credit union trade groups were out full force on Jan.7 to welcome members of the 108th Congress on their first day, with special attention on the freshman class. Included in the 535 members of Congress were 65 new lawmakers. CUNA held a reception for some of them at Credit Union House and attended others on the Hill. NAFCU also was present at many of the receptions, as were credit union CEOs and other leaders. Turn to pages 18 and 19 for a pictorial on this special day.
