WASHINGTON – The National Association of Mortgage Brokers is launching a major educational and public relations campaign to improve the industry's image. Reputed for being one of the main perpetrators of abusive mortgage and predatory lending, a spokesman for the NAMB recently argued that "these are misconceptions," and the perpetrators of the abuse are just a few "bad apples."
