WASHINGTON-House Financial Services Committee Chairman Mike Oxley (R-Ohio) will coach the Republican team in the Congressional Baseball Game for Charity. His team will go head-to-head June 20 with the Democrats, lead by Congressman Martin Olav Sabo (D-Minn.). The prize for this match up: a trophy, plus potentially more than $100,000 for Capitol-area charities, including the D.C. Literacy Council. The 41st Annual Congressional Baseball Game will take place at the Prince George's Stadium in Bowie, Md., home of the minor league Bowie Baysox. Other Financial Services Committee Members include Democrats Mel Watt (N.C.), Jay Inslee (Wash.), Lacy Clay (Missouri), and Republicans Jim Ryun (Kansas), Melissa Hart (Pa.), and Regulatory Relief Sponsor Shelley Moore Capito (W.V.).
