MADISON, Wis. – CUNA Network Services continues to use the partnering approach. CNS has signed endorsement agreements with two credit union data processors – Computer Consultants Corporation, Salt Lake City, Utah; and EPL, Inc., Birmingham, Alabama. Under the agreements the two processors will market CNS products to its CU clients. The agreement with EPL is a bit different in that it is a wholesale arrangement that calls for EPL to market CNS products under EPL's brand name, CUpower. CNS' primary products are online banking, VPN, Web site hosting, ISP, and smart cards aimed at securing information. CNS has been getting some of its solution partners to invest in CNS, such as EDS, which provides its home banking solution; and SchlumbergerSema, which provides its smart card offering.
