WASHINGTON – Hang on to your hats. Credit Union Times Publisher Mike Welch will facilitate a wide open national issues forum at CUNA's upcoming Symposium that is expected to get the audience actively involved in determining what topics are discussed. "It's going to be a unique session because attendees from the floor are going to have the opportunity to ask questions and raise issues that they want the panel to cover," said Welch. "There's no set agenda. Panel members, the crowd, and I will all get involved in determining the topics." The name of the session is the National Issues Forum and it will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 27 in Orlando at the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort & Convention Center. At press time, the panel had not been set, but it is expected to include four to five national leaders including credit union CEOs and representatives from credit union and bank trade associations.
