Alabama CU service center completes first IRnet transaction

HOOVER, Ala. – Alabama has become the first Credit Union Service Center Network to implement the International Remittance Network in a service center. The Hoover Service Center completed their first IRnet transaction last week. Hoover Service Center also hired a full-time bilingual employee to assist in communicating with Spanish-speaking members in processing the wire transfers. Currently, IRnet provides service to over 40 countries in Latin America, Asia, Africa and Europe.
