Galveston County Federal Credit Union, Texas City, has awarded four $1,000 scholarships to local high school students. Scholarships for academic excellence were awarded to Shilpa Patel and Jonathon Stelter. In addition, Crystal Cole was awarded the Leadership scholarship and Samantha Gonzales the Arts scholarship. This is the first group of scholarships awarded by GFCU.
