Gary and Jessica Mujica made it a family night out when the $2.5 billion Mission Federal Credit Union held a recognition event for the first responders who helped battle the recent wildfires around San Diego, and for those whose homes were damaged or destroyed. Mission Federal sponsored 300 tickets to the San Diego Padres game on May 24, part of the baseball team’s joint effort with the Red Cross and area fire and police chiefs. More than 300 first responders went out onto the PETCO Park field to be recognized before the Padres-Cubs game. (The Cubs won 3-2.) The Mujicas are pictured here in front of the credit union’s kiosk at the ballpark.
