Duke gets a ride from the animal shelter to the grooming parlor before riding off into the sunset with his new owner into the Texas Hill Country.

Larry Wilson may be riding off into the sunset, but he’s not going alone. The retiring chief financial officer of the $599 million Amoco FCU in Texas City, Texas, got a special gift, who left a local animal shelter by limousine after Wilson selected the pooch as his going away gift. Kimoh, a lab mix now re-named Duke, will be heading off with Wilson has they retire to the Texas Hill Country.
