Greater TEXAS Federal Credit Union was a leading fundraiser in a recent Make-A-Wish Foundation drive in Austin. In return, human resources director Tammy Carter — the CU's top individual fundraiser at $1,650 — "won" the privilege of "going over the edge" by rappelling down the 32-floor One American Center building one recent Saturday morning. Here she is getting started. Tammy's behind the lady and gentleman in blue and leaning over the edge watching others go down.

In another shot from the live feed, Tammy has just gone "over the edge" and is at the top of the 394-foot building.

Now Tammy is at the far right towards the top of the building and making her way down.

Tammy continues making steady progress down the office tower.

The undaunted HR director has just a few more floors to go on her epic journey.

And here she is, back at work and smiling about her adventure!

Tammy's colleagues also posted some YouTube videos of her daring descent, including Tammy looking quite composed as she's perched over the edge of the 400-foot building.
