The Filene Research Institute in Madison, Wis., is offering a new report aimed at helping credit unions get the biggest bang for the buck in information technology.
"The Future of Member-Facing Technologies" was written by Ron Shevlin, senior analyst for Boston-based Aite Group. In it, he advises credit unions to direction their attention to three specific areas: financial advice and guidance through personal financial management tools, social networking integration and mobile applications.
Shevlin's report "goes beyond specific companies or products to outline how different enterprise-level strategies will drive specific plans in 2011 and beyond," the Filene Research Institute said.
More information on the report, including a free webcast next Thursday, Jan. 13, at 1 p.m. EST, is available at http://filene.org/publications/detail/member_tech.
