Fynanz announced today the release of a program to syndicate its College Resource Center to all of its credit union partners.
The CRC, which is distributed from the cuStudentLoans.org private student loan marketplace, enables CUs to integrate a resource for college planning within their own website, including information about planning college visits, selecting a college and major and navigating the college financing process.
The content is developed and maintained by cuStudentLoans.org director of student advocacy Ken O'Connor, a 10-year veteran of the financial aid industry. Participating CUs will automatically receive updates via the CRC's content syndication functionality.
"Today more than ever, with escalating tuitions costs and increasingly competitive admissions standards, students interested in pursuing a college education need to be better informed on their options," Fynanz CEO Vince Passione said. "This program helps bridge the knowledge gap that so many families face when developing their college plans."
The CRC has already been implemented by four New Jersey credit unions–Aspire FCU, First Financial FCU, Garden Savings FCU and Tri-Co FCU–as well as Seattle Metropolitan CU.
