After 35 years in the financial sector, La Capitol Federal Credit Union President/CEO Susan Parry Leake will retire.
Chief Financial Officer/Executive Vice President Michael Hooper will succeed Leake as president/CEO.
Serving the Baton Rouge, La-based credit union for 26 years, 10 of which as President/CEO, Leake has been credited with helping La Capitol FCU grow from $195 million in assets to more than $400 million.
"I hope that, during my time as CEO, La Capitol made a positive difference in the lives of our members," said Leake. She plans to remain active in the community continuing her volunteer involvement.
