Thirty-two credit unions committed to becoming new users of Symitar core processing platforms in fiscal 2010, according to Jack Henry & Associates of Monett, Mo.

The company said the credit unions were all replacing competitors' systems and included new users of both the flagship Episys platform and CruiseNet for small to mid-sized credit unions. Seventeen will run their systems in-house and the other 15 will outsource the processing to data centers.

"Credit unions that continue to operate on platforms which inhibit growth and innovation limit their competitive advantage and put their businesses at serious risk," said Symitar President Ted Bilke.
