Jack Henry & Associates is reintroducing the Alogent brand to its ProfitStars division's line of branch and remote deposit solutions for large financial institutions, the company said.
The Sierra, Sierra Xpedite and Sierra Xchange product lines will now be rebranded to Alogent Deposit Automation Solutions, the company said.
Alogent Corp. had been bought by Goldleaf Financial Solutions Inc. in 2008, and that company was then acquired by Jack Henry & Associates in 2009 and its products and services became part of the ProfitStars division.
"We are excited to carry on the Alogent name for these market-leading deposit automation solutions and believe this change will help us promote our strategy as a best-of-breed provider of solutions for financial institutions of all asset sizes and charters," said David Foss, ProfitStars president.
Alogent Deposit Automation Solutions comprise Alogent Front Counter and Alogent Back Counter for teller, branch and regional image capture; Alogent Commercial Remote Deposit, Alogent Retail Remote Deposit, and Alogent Payment Web Services for remote deposit offerings, and the Alogent Payments Gateway for point of presentment applications, transaction processing and routing to internal bank systems, image archives, and other endpoints.
The new branding will appear in the company's advertising, Web sites, sales support materials, and upcoming product releases, as well at upcoming financial services events, webinars, and in other customer and prospect communications, the company said.
ProfitStars is one of three divisions of Missouri-based Jack Henry. The other two are Jack Henry Banking and Symitar, enterprise processing technology providers to banks and credit unions, respectively.
