PHILADELPHIA — American Heritage Federal Credit Union staffers were treated to Las Vegas as part of the credit union's annual employee appreciation day.

For one day the credit union's headquarters was transformed into a glitzy Las Vegas casino for the festivities. Each year, the American Heritage management team selects a theme and plans activities for the staff, as their way of celebrating a valuable team.

This year, management greeted the staff dressed as Las Vegas notables, including Elvis, Donald Trump, Liberace, and a just married wedding chapel couple. Luck was in the air as each employee hit the mock Vegas Strip, starting the day off with a gift bag containing a new credit union shirt, as well as extra goodies.

The entire staff was divided into five teams and competed for prizes. Employees enjoyed friendly competition throughout the day with crossword puzzles, raffles, Vegas bingo and casino games. Management also cooked and served the employees lunch.
