ATLANTA — A leading Canadian provider of ATM and transaction processing solutions to credit unions, retailers and other businesses says it will deploy Postilion's payment switching and ATM driving solutions on the IBM AIX UNIX operating system.
Threshold Financial Technologies of Mississauga, Ontario, has been a customer of Postilion, a division of Atlanta-based S1 Corp., for more than seven years.
"The scalability and reliability of Postilion, recently benchmarked with 1,000 transactions per second on IBM System p servers and the DB2 data server, positions processors like Threshold to attract business from larger financial services organizations," said Pierre Naude, senior vice president and general manager of Postilion Americas.
Threshold Financial Technologies Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Versent Corp. ULC, a privately owned Canadian company with more than 850 employees throughout North America. Clients include Meridian CU, Alterna Savings CU, All Trans Financial Services CU, ING Bank, Costco Wholesale Canada and Husky Energy.
