WAUWATOSA, Wis. — Throughout 2006, Wauwatosa Credit Union organized and hosted events to benefit Children's Miracle Network. The CU's dedication paid off as it raised a total of $11,749.53.
To achieve this donation amount, Wauwatosa CU held various bake sales, raffles and a Chain of Hearts Campaign.
In addition, WCU held its First Annual Poker Run for CMN in June. Over 150 motorcyclists rode a 100 mile route, stopping at participating Harley-Davidson dealers, concluding with a celebration in which 400+ participants enjoyed games, prizes, food and live music.
At Wauwatosa CU's Annual Meeting recently Assistant Vice President Cara Zellmer presented the donation to CMN Representative Peter Sentz.
