ARLINGTON, Va. — NAFCU Senior Economist Jeff Taylor will be leaving the credit union trade association to join a contractors' association in March.

He plans to join the Associated Builders and Contractors as its chief economist. "It's nothing against credit unions and nothing against NAFCU. It was just an opportunity that came up," Taylor said. He said the group was looking for someone to help provide data for their lobbying efforts, communications, and in the press. His last day at NAFCU will be March 2. "I'll miss credit unions in a lot of ways and financial services," Taylor said, but he noted that there are some commonalities in what he will be doing.
