ELKHART, Ind.- In the true spirit of cooperation Bayer Federal Credit Union and Chiphone Federal Credit Union have teamed up to open their second partnership branch in two years. That's right two credit unions building one joint branch that will serve both sets of members. Set to open July 10, the new facility features a family-friendly atmosphere complete with kids' activity zone, Internet caf and a Wi-Fi area. "This is a unique relationship for both credit unions to maintain and grow. We are looking forward to another successful partnership branch with Chiphone Federal Credit Union," said BFCU CEO Dallas Bergl. CFCU CEO Ron Mazur adds that joint ventures can work. "This proves that two well established financial institutions in the Elkhart area can work together to keep overhead costs down and provide excellent financial services to our members," said Mazur. The new branch will include drive-thru services, in-branch services and an ATM. According to CU execs the prime location is in an area that has had tremendous growth over the past few years.
