GROTON, Conn. – Charter Oak Federal Credit Union Board Members recently headed to New York City to visit with Takeshi Aoki, senior analyst for Japan's Shinkin Central Bank Research Institute.
Aoki visited Charter Oak in early December to tour the facilities and learn more about credit unions.
During a recent planning session for senior staff and board members held in New York City, Aoki reciprocated by inviting members of Charter Oak to visit their office for a tour and to again discuss the similarities between credit unions and Japan's Shinkin Bank.
