CENTENNIAL, Colo. – In a move a company spokesperson said "demonstrates our commitment to the growth of the bank and credit union markets as separate businesses," CENTRIX Financial has appointed three senior executives to lead the company's credit union, banking and automotive dealership businesses. The appointments include: John Frew as executive vice president, credit union markets. He has been involved with CENTRIX's effort to work with the NCUA on developing CU industry regulations for third-party indirect lending; John Scordo, managing director, dealer business development; and Joe Romanello, national sales manager, bank markets. CENTRIX Chairman and CEO Robert Sutton said the three new senior executives "are all well known and respected in these fields, and I am confident that they will help us enhance CENTRIX's special auto financial products and grow our business." Frew has 25 years of experience in the legal, legislative and business areas. He is an attorney in Colorado and has extensive background in legislative affairs in Washington, D.C. including serving on the staffs of U.S. Senators Tom Harkin and John Culver, and as chief of staff for Sen. Tim Wirth. Scordo has been with CENTRIX since 2001, most recently as vice president, dealer business development, responsible for the company's national dealer accounts. In his new position, Scordo will oversee all dealer sales and marketing functions for CENTRIX. Romanello joined CENTRIX in 2005 and has been responsible for regional sales and marketing to credit unions and banks.
