Virginia Beach police are not revealing why a woman slashed a Navy Federal Credit Union employee last week.

According to court documents cited by local media reports, Shontrina Fountain, 39, of Virginia Beach, slashed the throat of a teller at the Navy FCU’s Providence Road branch on Aug. 24. The employee was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries and was expected to make a full recovery, according to police and local media reports.
