CARMEL, Ind. – Allen Stendahl, CUNA Mutual's VP of Credit Union Protection for the last two and a half years, has joined Allied Solutions as Regional Vice President, Allied Solutions Specialty Lines. Stendahl, who has over 20 years insurance experience, helped direct the underwriting, claims and risk management support for CUMIS at CUNA Mutual. He will be performing similar functions at Allied which entered the credit union bond market about eight years ago and currently has 300 credit union clients. CUNA Mutual said it is in the process of replacing Stendahl's role as chief underwriter. The company said his other duties involving strategy development will be handled by others in the Credit Union Protection Solutions Group.
