Stuart R. Levine
Stuart R. Levine is Chairman and CEO of Stuart Levine & Associates LLC, an international strategic planning and leadership development company with focus on adding shareholder value by strengthening corporate cultures. His background as CEO of a global corporation and extensive board experience has afforded him a unique perspective on strategy, implementation, global transformation and succession planning.
He is an international best-selling leadership author; a sought-after commentator on TV, in print and via social media for his views on governance, innovation in complex environments and strengthening organizational culture; the recipient of awards from several prestigious national organizations; and a member of a number of boards: Broadridge Financial Solutions, J. D’Addario, Single Touch Systems, and North Shore-LIJ Health System. He formerly served on the boards of Gentiva Health Services, the European-American Bank and Dale Carnegie & Associates.
Tim Segerson is the Deputy Director of the Office of Examination and Insurance (E&I) with the National Credit Union Administration. Tim is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of E&I and assisting the Director with the implementation of Agency-wide policy relating to examination, supervision and insurance and guaranty fund risk management.
Tim joined the Northeast Region of NCUA in 1992, and has worked as a problem case officer, field supervisor, as well as, serving as Director of Supervision and Director of Risk Management in E&I.
Tim is a graduate of Rhode Island College with honors completing studies in Economics and Accounting.
John J. McKechnie, III
John McKechnie joined Total Spectrum as a Partner in 2011. This follows five years in government as the Director of Public and Congressional Affairs at the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), the federal agency that regulates and insures credit unions.
McKechnie’s career in the credit union industry began in 1987 as the Director of Political Action with the Credit Union National Association – the industry’s largest trade association – and culminated as the chief federal lobbyist for CUNA.
Among the highlights of his tenure at CUNA was John’s role in creating the nationwide grassroots campaign that created the momentum for passage of the landmark 1998 credit union membership legislation. McKechnie is also recognized for his work in passing bankruptcy abuse prevention legislation in 2005, and for propelling CUNA into the front ranks of Washington’s advocacy groups.
He left the private sector in 2006, when he became a Presidential appointee to the National Credit Union Administration. As Director of Public and Congressional Affairs for NCUA, McKechnie was responsible for media and congressional relations for this federal financial regulator during the recent economic dislocation. He was instrumental in the formulation and passage of key legislation that enabled the credit union industry’s federal insurance fund to remain solvent and stable, and also was the day-to-day manager of a multi-media campaign that netted over $5 million in donated advertising for NCUA.
Prior to joining the Credit Union National Association, McKechnie served as a congressional aide to Representative Stan Parris (R-VA), and as press secretary or organizational director for a number of gubernatorial and legislative campaigns throughout the Mid-Atlantic.He is a 1983 graduate of Loyola College in Maryland, and he resides in Bethesda, Maryland with his son.
