Regulators in Louisiana are about ready to conduct a more formal, second survey of financial conditions impacting credit unions as a result of the BP oil spill, the state's top examiner, Sidney Seymour, said Thursday.

Louisiana credit unions have added a third international partnership to their ranks, as Jefferson Financial Credit Union of Metairie, La., and Ghana's GESRO Co-operative Credit Union signed an agreement of mutual support in late June.
