The proposed trade group combining Arizona, Colorado and Wyoming credit union leagues has settled on a new name: Mountain West Credit Union Association.
“Mountain West Credit Union Association” has been picked as the designated new name for the soon-to-be-merged Arizona-Colorado-Wyoming leagues.
The Maryland & DC Credit Union Association has been considering a possible merger with the New Jersey Credit Union League as Credit Union Times first reported last Thursday.
The Maryland/DC Credit Union Association, which since last year has been scouting for a new president/CEO, has also been looking at a possible merger with one of its Mid-Atlantic neighbor leagues.
The trend toward trade group consolidation picked up more steam last week with plans by the Arizona Credit Union League and Credit Union Associations of Colorado and Wyoming to merge.
