Michigan League's CU Solutions Group expands its Save to Win program to Nebraska and Connecticut credit unions.
A Lincoln credit union member won the $25,000 top prize in Nebraska's league-sponsored "Save to Win" program.
NWCUA and six Washington state credit unions team up to offer program starting April 1.
Program is spinoff of Save to Win sweepstakes adopted in several states through Filene Research Institute.
State league launches program earlier this month.
League says 1,331 accounts representing member savings of $1.1 million have been opened.

The industry push to promote improved savings behavior among consumers while also drawing new business was ratcheted up with a pilot initiative involving 20 credit unions and sponsored by Filene Research Institute and SaveUp, a fledgling San Francisco firm.
