Sixteen credit unions have moved their Symitar core processing operations from in-house to outsourcing through the company’s service bureau offering in the past 18 months.
Synergent said it also recently signed agreements to provide a variety of services to several other credit unions, all in Maine.
Four more credit unions are now running on the Symitar Episys core processing platform through the Member Driven Technologies service bureau, the suburban Detroit CUSO said.
Thirty-seven credit unions became new users of Symitar core processing platforms in the past year, according to Jack Henry & Associates Inc.
Twenty go for outsourced processing, 17 stay in-house.
