F&A Federal Credit Union, $1.3 billion in assets, is in search of an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team. The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for the oversight of the accounting department, financial reporting, and a member of the ALCO Committee among other responsibilities. The CFO works collaboratively as a member of the Executive Team to develop and execute the future vision and strategic plan for F&A. The CFO will be responsible for the accurate and timely financial reporting to the Board of Directors, Management, and regulatory agencies. The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience with Asset Liability Management, comprehensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and knowledge of financial institutions regulations and compliance requirements preferred. This position requires at least five years of financial leadership experience in credit unions along with a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or a related field. MBA and CPA preferred. Experience in managing and/or supporting an investment portfolio is required.
