Mgr, Systems Development Dept

Founded more than 75 years ago as the Duval Teachers Credit Union, Community First Credit Union now serves anyone who lives or works in Baker, Clay, Duval, Flagler, Nassau, Putnam and St. Johns counties in Northeast Florida. We are now seeking a Systems Development Department Manager who directs and manages the daily operation of the Systems Development Department; modifies and enhances the department workflow processes as necessary.  Assists lines of business by helping to define business requirements with day to day enhancement requests.  Assists with project initiation, business case formation, project write ups, project management and programming requests.  Leads or participates on project teams, identifying objectives of projects and translating requirements into specifications for assigned staff. Proactively identifies improvements to technology supported business processes and coordinates the implementation of approved changes.  Manages vendor relationships, contract negotiations and ensures that the department meets organizational, operational, service culture and growth objectives.

The Systems Development Manager should possess the following:

• Five years’ experience in a similar role
• College Degree
• Resource Management
• Project  Planning
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, SharePoint, .Net, SQL
• Working knowledge of network design a plus
• Significant level of trust
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to remain flexible and multitask in a fast-paced environment
