CU Kids at Heart Runs Marathon for Children’s Hospital

The Credit Union Kids at Heart Program participated in its 10th Boston Marathon to benefit the Children’s Hospital Boston.

 

The program is made up of 53 New England CUs and was established by EasCorp in 1996. This year, 10 volunteer runners ran in the marathon. They represented 11 patient-partner children from the hospital. In total, Kids at Heart raised $320,000 this year, which put them over the mark of $3 million raised since the program started 12 years ago.

GCS FCU Kicks off Youth Week Celebration

GCS Federal Credit Union kicked off Credit Union Youth Week this week with a full schedule of events.

 

To go along with the theme The Magic of Saving GCS had a magician, a Wizard’s castle jump house, a Balloon artists and Radio Disney was on site with dancing and music. DARE officers and a K-9 officer also visited the event and on Earth Day the credit union had a shred truck on site.

 

The credit union will end Youth Week on Friday with a barbecue and Shrek the Third movie under the stars.

Genisys CU Holds Holiday Celebration Events

Genisys Credit Union held a Bunny Hop and Easter Egg Hunt for the Michigan communities of Wixom and Highland.

 

The Bunny Hop featured refreshments, activities and dancing with the Easter Bunny. The hunt had egg hunts by age, activities and pictures with the Easter Bunny.
