Florida Commerce Credit Union ($310M), located in Tallahassee, FL, which serves more than 36,000 members in the Big Bend region has an opportunity for a seasoned Vice President, Chief Financial Officer to join its leadership team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a proven finance/accounting executive to join a progressive credit union with a unique business model. Your background should include experience from a financial service organization that specializes in consumer and auto lending supported by strong analytics and is not risk averse. The incumbent will serve as the primary risk officer of the institution, and have a deep knowledge and understanding of the risk management practices for financial institutions, overseeing the credit union’s asset-liability strategies, cash management and investment functions, financial reporting, and product pricing/cost accounting models. As a member of the executive team, reporting directly to the CEO, you should be confident and possess a collaborative leadership style. You will interface and partner with Senior Management, Chair the ALCO committee and make frequent presentations to the Board of Directors. Your experience will also include working closely with information technology to manage finance and accounting software applications. This position requires at least 7-10 years of experience managing finance (accounting, investments, cash management, budgeting, control, and reporting) for a complex financial institution with multiple branches and a broad array of product offerings.
