With over $90 million in assets, the Woodlands Credit Union, located in Berlin, New Hampshire, is in search of an experienced financial executive to fill the newly created position of Chief Financial Officer. This individual will assume the role of leading the organization’s financial and regulatory reporting function. Primary duties include: budgeting, general ledger, financial statement preparation, asset liability management, investments and profitability measurement. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for preparation of tax filings, product analysis, cost accounting and risk management, including contract management and oversight of insurance policies. The President/CEO will also rely on this individual to work closely with both the internal and external auditing processes and as part of the senior management strategic planning team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in a managerial role overseeing accounting and finance for a financial institution, a fundamental understanding of ALM, cost accounting, pricing, strategic planning and risk management. A solid foundation in financial systems and four year college degree is required.
