Popular financial adviser Suze Orman has touted the benefits of using a credit card issued by a credit union over credit cards issued by major banks on a recent show.
According to credit union card analyst Ondine Irving, CEO of Card Analysis Solutions, who had been introducing Orman to credit union cards, the Sept. 26 show took some major card issuers to task for their recent policies and promoted cards issued by credit unions. Irving characterized the message as “very clear” and said Orman scolded some of the major card issuers by name.
Orman is also interested in learning more about credit unions products and services that are good for the consumer, Irving said.
