Yanks Could Clinch World Championship Tonight
11/2/2009

The New York Yankees, using techniques employed by financial institutions, are in a position to become the World Series champion for the 27th time.

They go into tonight’s game against the defending champion Philadelphia Phillies with a three games to one lead in the best of seven series.

To reach this stage, the Yankees used approaches that the NCUA advises credit unions to take.

When their players were performing in an unsafe and unsound manner, the team quickly devised a program for prompt corrective action that helped reverse their fortune. When their assets weren’t reaping a sufficient return on investment, the Yankee management performed due diligence and made alternative investment decisions.

Tonight’s game is scheduled to begin at 7:57 p.m. at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.
