OMEGA Federal Credit Union has tapped former Security Credit Union Executive Vice President/Chief Financial Officer Troy L. Garvin as its new CEO.

Garvin brings his over 20 years of experience to the Pittsburgh-based credit union. He previously served as CEO of Lapeer County Community Credit Union.

The $75 million credit union’s longtime CEO Robert J. Vuono died unexpectedly on June 18, 2009. Prior to his death, Vuono had announced plans to retire in February 2010.
