Columbia CU Names New CEO
11/2/2009

It’s official, Columbia Credit Union has named interim CEO Steve Kenny as its new president/CEO.

The former Columbia CU chief operating officer has been serving as interim CEO since May 2009 following then President/CEO Parker Cann’s move to become senior vice president and corporate counsel of Boeing Employees Credit Union.

Kenny is credited for the design and construction of Columbia CU’s two award-winning branches located in Washougal and at Vancouver’s Grand Central Marketplace. The credit union’s green branch became not only Vancouver’s first, but Washington State’s first financial institution with the designation of LEED Gold accreditation.

With over 30 in the financial services arena, Kenny has held key positions ranging from operations supervisor, loan officer, branch manager and e-commerce product manager, to senior vice president risk management/general services.
